Desktop Humidors & Humidity Control Issues

Well, today happened to be the day I moved everything back into the humidors.

The cigars were steady at 67% in the tupperdore and the humidors were all hanging in there at 77-78 RH.

Re-organized and left a little more “space” in them this time - about 20-25% open air. Rehydrated the beads and cleaned the humidors out with a can of spray air.

Currently all are checking in right around 70-73 RH. Will have to keep an eye on them and make sure they balance out.

Wanted to give those following an update.

I moved the HFBs into “panty hose stockings” from the mesh aquarium substrate bags I was using previously. The mesh was too “open” and kept leaving messes in my humidors which gets old cleaning up.

With that said, I rehydrated the beads and moved some stuff around, but currently holding around 68 RH in all but one which is at 66 RH. Added a damp sponge to try and creep it back up a little bit, once it’s at 68 RH I’ll pull it out.
