Just started smoking cigars a few months ago, and have probably only smoked ~150. Started off with samplers to survey the terrain. What’s a Connecticut, Maduro, Oscuro, etc. I can’t seem to sit still for much over an hour, so I seem to have gravitated from Churchills to Toros to Robustos. (I’ve been smoking one outta each 5er ROTT, so I realize it’s not in-depth. Leaving the rest to hopefully improve in the humi)
Anyway, so far, these are the cigars I seem to like:
Something with 8-5-8 on the wrapper
Cohiba red dot
MC media noche
LGC series R
Nicaraguan 90+ Seconds (my morning read the news smoke before I pick out the smoke of the day)
I seem to prefer flavor over strength, and I like smoothness. Not keen on the cigars that make me feel like I’ve just snorted ghost pepper juice when I retrohale. (Is that what you guys call pepper in your reviews?)
Is there any kind of trend in what I like so far, or do you have any suggestions on sticks of this type?
