It was occasional for me as well....in the beginning. I just recently quit chewing about a month ago, after 6 years of increasing use. I felt it was getting out of hand, and it was hard to quit. I laid off the cigars for about 3 weeks as well just to make it easier to get off the nicotine. One thing I am noticing, my sense of taste is coming back. And I didn't know it was that impaired! My first cigar back was a barnburner and food is better as well!

RE: Snus- all I can say is BE CAREFUL. If you are anything like me, snus will be a gateway to dipping more potent stuff.

I don't know how anyone swallows any smokeless tobacco. I did for a while with the Camel Snus (which I love)- and felt ill EVERY time. *blech* Now my favorite is Skoal Long Cut Mint. Def. an addiction, especially when I'm on the phone at work. I need to try the tape thing with my bottles. I usually use a water bottle, which isn't the most pleasant thing to look at, lol...
