Does my Mailman Hate Me?

So this happens often, the package says out for delivery, but nothin shows up in my mailbox until the following day. Does this happen to others? Was wondering if he know that it's Priority, if he is holding it for another day for spite. I'm not sure what we left him for Christmas last year (which is bullshit too), but maybe it wasn't enough. Am I being paranoid or what?....

Well what could happen is its placed on his bag for delivery after he has already left. So what the bag for tomorrow already has the pack in it. They only go to the office in the morning and then at night once their done. I hate when I see that too. It happened to me when I ordered my laptop and my Xbox.

Happens to me quite a bit too. Lots of times, it'll show as delivered, but it doesn't show up until a day or two later though. Pisses me off. The USPS is so screwed up that it doesn't surprise me anymore.

Happens to me all the time. Especially on Saturdays, if the package is too big to fit in the box and they have to get out and walk to the porch, forget about it, it'll be Monday. Also, three days in government speak means five days in reality.

The reality is your postman got drunk at the union hide out forgot about the mail then got his postal ho to deliver the mail the following day while he recovers from a killer hang over... I have undercover video of the postal union hideout parties that are occurring in your neighborhoods its obscene and ganja smoking everywhere.. You wouldn't believe it...

When you see this video you will be wearing gloves next time you handle your package...

I agree USPS has issues!! I have had a package being held in PA since The 11th on the 14th it still showed NO movement! I called USPS and they didn't even know what to say. Beside BS! So I called the shipper and they have since UPS'd me another one! It's no wonder why they are broke. No offense to anyone that may work for the USPS. Just my opinion.

Today my postman put noticed posted.. Well Guess what my office is my living room and am sitting here next to the door and NADA! That's right he skipped out said am blowing out to the union party... I know whats going on lol... So two boxes of cigars are going to have to endure a Saturday Night postal party and a sunday of recovery...

I agree USPS has issues!! I have had a package being held in PA since The 11th on the 14th it still showed NO movement! I called USPS and they didn't even know what to say. Beside BS! So I called the shipper and they have since UPS'd me another one! It's no wonder why they are broke. No offense to anyone that may work for the USPS. Just my opinion.

Hey im a carrier for USPS and trust me even we get confused. The biggest problem is that management keeps changing procedures EVERY DAMN MONTH. in regads to your OP jmartins has the right answer. They should be scanned as arrival and then out for delivery the next day but 1)clerks don't want to have to scan them twice 2)postmaster likes it cause it looks like he's getting all the mail out. I could go on but i may have said too much already. :sarcastic

I don't agree with the Christmas present thing though. Our post man put a wish list in our mail box with specifics of what not to put in there. Is that right? I dunno.
But the thing of it is, it says that it was delivered today when I tracked it. Delivered to where? Who knows...

Screw that. I dont like to give stuff to people who ask for it or expect it. It takes the meaning out of it for me. Instead of doing a nice thing for someone, now you feel obligated to give them something or else... or else your cigars sit in a very hot place for way too long and next thing you know, you have beetles or the postmen have some nice cigars to smoke with their ganja at their parties.

I didn't take offence just trying to tell other side of the story. Delivered somewhere on the route hopefully in your box. as for christmas i'm in the minority where in that i don't expect anything for christmas and truly appreciate when i do recieve something. I'll let you in on a little secret better tips doesn't mean better service. Another tip for all those who have bad luck recieving packages or that cant trust your neighbors you can just tell your carrier to hold all packages at the post office. It will be a hassle going to pick them up but at least you'll know where it is.

Hahaha changing procedures every month sounds very familiar. My work loves to do that than they forget and place blame on everyone. Lol.

In the end, the package was in there today. I left for the day after I checked it yesterday, so the mailman must have doubled back later on. So I take back anything negative I said about USPS... LOL

I was expecting a package today and the USPS DC# says it was delivered yet it is nowhere to be found. I was home at the time it says it was delivered, too. :scratchhe
