Number of breweries means nothing. The below explains my opinion that the West Coast has the best beer.
Deschutes > Dog Fish Head
Stone > Flying Dog
Russian River > Smuttynose
Ballast Point > Victory
Lost Abbey > Brooklyn
Bear Republic > Troegs
Firestone Walker > Magic Hat
The Bruery > Harpoon
Alesmith > Wyerbacher
Anchor > Lion
Speakeasy > Feglee's
Alpine > Boston Brewing
Great Divide > Yuengling
LOL...like I said, just an opinion. Nothing more than a my team is better than your team statement. As we all know from cigars, different people like different things. There are really good breweries all across the US, and everyone will have their own opinions. I am just glad that we have so many great options when it comes to beer these days. :bigeyes:Oh now I get why they are better...
I'll just take one of everything, thanks.LOL...like I said, just an opinion. Nothing more than a my team is better than your team statement. Exactly!! :ccowboy:Yes, West Germany does have the best beer:halfgrinw
Some would argue that we are redefining the IPA... some breweries are labeling IPAs "English" or "Traditional" and "West Coast" or "California" in order to distinguish the sub-genres.they got IPAs figured out there IMO.
Unibroue.Canada? Is there a craft beer industry in Canada?
