Every single DPG cigar I have smoked has been awesome...lots of spice and pepper and smooth. I have yet to find one I didn't like. I smoked a DPG firecracker and it blew me away. JESUS, Id love to have more of those.

Who else is a DPG fan?

I'm a huge Pepin fan! I want to try everything he's made. Will take me a while he's a busy guy. However, for some reason I can't get into the blacks. Going to let the blacks that I have relax in the humidor and see if they dont develope into something I like over time. I got plenty of time!

It's hit or miss with me. I liked the JJ I had yesterday but some are good but not great. I haven't given up on him though. Last week I had my first SC and it was kind of bitter and ammonia like. But then I had another last night that was great. Oddly I love every Tat and other Pete smokes I have.

i've had almost every dpg made cigar except for the jj. never occurred to me to try it. weird, i know.

Yeah i gotta say Don Pepin is pretty much the man. I love the JJ series and if we are included his son i have say that the my father line is ultimately my favorite.The Le bijou's are amazing.

Same here! I can't stand the blacks. I revisit them every six months and I still hate them.

I found an El Centurion in the bottom of my humidor last week. Smoked it. Damn fine cigar. I had forgot all about them for nearly two years. Pepin is great.

Another unabashed Pepin whore here. In fact, that's all you'll find in my humidor. That may seem close-minded to some but he and his son's portfolio is so diverse and extensive, you can cover the entire spectrum with just their brands, IMO.

The unfortunate thing to me is that I missed out on some of his early house/regional blends that are no longer made. The original Cuban Diplomat, Rey Miguel, and Sam's Stash are some the come to mind.

Duds to me - Serie JJ (both), the new La Aroma de Cuba (regular), and Cubao Maduro.

Faves - El Centurion, Habana Leon, Cubao (original), Tatuaje Brown Label, and 601 Green.

Sleepers - Troya Clasico and Los Imperialista

It wasn't hard for me to become a fan. What's not to like about his cigars? Tat's and My Fathers being my favorite, that he produces.

I don't know if it's just me, but the regular My Fathers w/ some age are pretty frickin' fantastic! I liked them, but wasn't gaga over them a year ago, now I love them just as much as my other favorites.

Also a Pepin whore here. Tats and My Fathers the best. Current favorites are the Red Tube Veros and original El Tri Lanceros. Although nothing beats a Cab Guapos with coffee in the morning.
