The blend could be tweaked in the chiquito based on the perfecto size. Or I guess vice versa.

From when I talked to him, he said they were, but when I pressed him with more questions, he really could not tell what the blend was of the jar. Sounds like a job for Mr. B. Call up Andre Farkas and get the info.

This is Andre response.

Same blend, but you're going to get a different experience from the Chiquito because of its size. That short story is going to give you more spice from the wrapper due to the smaller gauge which ultimately changes the overall flavor of the cigar.

I figured same blend as that would really be confusing as the name is the same. Makes more sense as the size obviously would affect a change in taste.

Supposedly there are 4 stores that will be drawn out of a hat. They will get their own size of the exclusivo. At least that's what it says on the Viaje facebook page.

Are you guys storing them with the lids on? I would love to long term store 40 or 50 of these but don't want too much cedar bleeding in. Maybe I'll just wheel up 50, wrap a ribbon around them and toss them in the walk-in. I just figure the jar with the lid on is useless in a walk-in. Any ideas?

I was wondering the same thing but figured I would just store them with the lid off the jar.

I too was wondering the same thing. This issue also arise with tubos. IF you store them long term, the seem to dry out as the tube does it's job, pretty much not letting air/humidity in.

So I smoked my first today (Thanks Excel) I can't say enough about these. They are some flavor packed little guys. I am going to order some other Viaje stuff and I'm not sure how long the other two I have will last after trying this one. I have to agree with the reviews of these too, just an overall great stick.

and yes, there really is a new release scheduled out very shortly!

Of the additional sizes? Or the Jar / Robusto release. If the latter then there were many many lies told to us....
