You guys are right that we need to be aware of what we are buying but at the same time a business shouldn't take advantage of a customer - especially when we're talking about something many of us call a "brotherhood". Unless they simply had someone behind the counter that was just running the cash register then they knew these sticks were bad.Ditto. That's the same thing as buying the green meat from the grocery store and then crying foul when you get sick.
I'm sure you were hoping it was something better but it never turns out that way. I'm really glad you just let it go though...it should have never escalated the way the other thread ended up.
A grocery store will sell meat that's about to expire... but even they'll pull a pound of burger off the shelf if it's covered in mold! :hammersma
