I'm smoking this right now as I type. There are so many flavors in here. However, they do not come right out an slap you in the face. The flavors are very gentle like a nice breeze.

First impressions of first cut pre-lit was of oatmeal raisins with lots of raisians.

Very silky smooth dry wrapper

After getting into it a bit I got hints of caramel

at the end very florally

This was a good cigar with lots a flavor

The ones at the trade show were just a couple of weeks old--at most. So I would recommend re-visiting it again. But that said it may not be to everyone's taste. I like it.
I agree with Mowee. I smoked one that came from the show thanks to someone and it wasn't great, but freshly rolled. I hear it's wonderful now!

Wow! Lot's of opinions on this one.
Maybe I'll have to try another down the road, but I kinda had the feeling that 8 other people saying the same things as I at the herf was kinda odd-oh well.
I too was a big fan of l.g.c.'s so I was really looking forward to what he could come up with.

Remember this is not like an LGC...more like what he did with the trunk shows...special tobacco and different flavors.

No the ones at the show were good...at least I thought so. They were a little young though.

We weren't at the same show Mowee, so I'm not certain that these cigars were really from the same "batch".

I really want one after what everyone has been saying about them. Do you think they should rest for a couple months in the humidor or give them a week and go at it.

I picked up 1 of these last week after the owner & and an employee at my local B&M told me that I had to try it. I'll get around to smoking it soon...

tried mine yesterday. i think i am so used to big bold flavors that anything else seems a little bland. i was told this had good spice throughout it. i guess spice is in the taste buds of the beholder. i thought this was a nice, rather simple, smooth cigar. the construction was very good in the beginning, although the wrapper seemed a little thin at the end and started to pull away slightly. i was a big fan of the lgc back in the early days, especially the wavell, but this one was almost more towards the davidoff category to me. so, that being said, there will be lots of people who will love this stick. but for the price, i need a little more oomph!
