A good customer of mine call as he know I love cigars and tells me he has two boxes of Partagas Serie D #4's ad some others that his buddy just brought back from Havana. Come help myself. I get there are these are the dirtiest, scruffest boxes you have ever seen. Cheap plywood. No stamps on the bottom. Poor placement of the partagas burn in. THe cigars smelled funny. Like cow manure. The labels were poorly attached. I told him. He said the guy gave it to him for free. I said he got a good price.

wow...good thing they were free.

I don;t know if I could bring myself to tell him they were fake, although, if he was a good friend, I'm sure I wouldn;t want to see him mislead (and I might loan him one or two so he could tell the difference:stretchgr )

Must have got them off the street. Also had a bundle of MC#4s that looked very good and some Statos that looked awful.

Normally but these smelled "stongly" of cow manure. Not a pleasant aroma if you catch my drift.

They looked very oily but with a loose roll. He's going to try a few. I am going to give him a taste of the "real" world tomorrow.:smokingbo
