That's always an awkward moment. A buddy of mine picked up a handful of "genuine" Montecristos in Mexico last summer and was dying to put-together a mini-herf to celebrate the 'catch.'
Anyway, I wasn't available for the get-together but I had to listen to him talking about those cigars for months.... :cursing:

So I go down to my friends B&M yesterday to have a cigar and he meets me at the door all excited. "You will never believe what I got in today! and such a deal" Yes my friends he paid $400.00 for two boxes of very bad fake PSD4's that looked very familiar.
I believe there are good B&M's out there with good CC stock. There are also many like my friend that have no idea and just get what they can. Let the buyer beware.
