Well I am going to take a little different approach to answering your question (really the level of gayness for Illusione, LP, and Tat. is getting tiresome). Instead of just suggesting a brand, here are some specific stogies I enjoy. I generally buy the Belicosos/Torpedos and Toros. Claytron above had some good ideas with Diesels...Unholy Cocktail and Diesel Unlimited (a bit stronger), Man O War and MOW Ruination (Stronger). Lately I have been on a Pinar Del Rio kick enjoying the 2007 Oscuros and the new 1878 Line...Oscuros (red label) and Maduras.

Hey all, very new here on the forum, but I've been smoking cigars for 3 years. I've noticed over the past year or so I've become a "hermit" with my cigars, meaning that I don't really experiment much outside of what I normally smoke. So I was hoping to come here and get some suggestions from my fellow BOTLs to see what cigars you guys can come up with that I can find at my B&M.

My go to smokes:
Oliva O Perfecto
Casa Magna Robusto
Ashton VSG
Oliva G Maduro
DPG Cuban Classic

Hopefully that covers what flavors I prefer, thanks!
Here's a (rather lengthy) list of cigars I enjoy in no particular order: Illusione, Padron, DPG Blue, Padilla '32, Padilla Miami, Alec Bradley Tempus and SCR, 5 Vegas Cask Strength II and Relic, Perdomo Habano and Lot 23, Camacho Triple Maddy, Select, and Corojo, LFD Air Bender, Plasencia CAO LX2, or Old Henry. If you're open to online purchases, I'm a huge fan of the Diesel as well. I know it's a long list, but I figured I'd throw a ton out there to get your gears turnin'. Long ashes!

Any Padron, WOAM/WOAN, Anejo's and maybe Perdomo Champagne.

That about covers the full to mild range...

No matter what you read in magazines, web, chatboards, etc. Bottom line is smoke what you enjoy. If that is a swsher sweet or an opus x, doesnt matter, At the end of the day your happiness is what is at stake. So what if the review is 5 stars or zero. What matters most is personal satisfation. If you arent happy, no other publication or medal or any other achievement can change that. Smoke what you like and like what you smoke and know you are welcome here with open arms!!!!

Don't be retarded. There is a reason they are suggested over and over-they are good, solid smokes. There are certain Illusione I prefer over others (Epernay) there are certain LP's I prefer (#9) and certain Tats (7th reserva's and PCR's). There are different smokes, from each line, that the next guy will suggest. That's a) what makes this so great b) what makes this a good topic c) why the same brands are repeated over and over.

Also, as was mentioned just a few times-Try out EP Carillo. His smokes are really getting a huge fan base, for great reasons.

Not to step on any toes and I am good at that..... The point that needs to be made here is we are Brother Of The Leaf. That being said we are not Brother Of The Opus, Brother Of The Tat, Brother Of The CC. We all have our preferences and by all means as an open forum lets share our experiences. However, we arent getting a check from a particular brand for loyalty (at least I am not) and I feel over the past couple of years our board has become skewed for leaning certain directions. I encourage all members to share their smoking experiences no matter what they are smoking. We can all benefit from a little honesty beyond the band or box name of the cigars we smoke. Smoke on and Smoke proud for we are all Brothers Of The Leaf. :peace:
