I like the Oliva V Beli, The oliva Connecticut reserve Lonsdale, and the El Cobre Robusto. The El Cobre also being an Oliva product helps to illustrate something I have been saying for a few years now. Oliva is one of the absolute best at the 4 to 7 dollar cigar.

If you know where to look you can find a good amount of cigars for under $5.00 each.

For example. CAO Brazilia's at your B&M will be around $6.00 - $7.00 for a Gol!. However on CI you can get a 5er for $15.00 ($3.00 each).

Padron 2000 Maduro and Oliva 'G' Robusto Maduro are great cigars around $3.00 each at local B&M's.

DPG Blacks (smoking a Perla right now that I got a box of for $2 and change for each stick)
CAO Brazilia Gol
Padron Maduros x000s
Tat Havanas (one of my favorites)
Hemingway Short Story
I'll have to try the Illusione MK. I've had the CG4 which was awesome and the HL which was OK. I was thinking each stick was unique in its blend which makes sense since I loved th CG4 but the HL didn't impress me as much.

I have to say that my cheaper cigars are cubans. When I smoke non cubans, I'm usually smoking $8+ cigars because I like all the more expensive Tats, Illusiones, Liga's, Viaje and Fuente Anejos.

I do like the Murcielago, Jaime Garcia Reserva off the top of my head though...

$5-$6 is a pretty specific range, but I'll say, in no particular order:

Boli CE
Boli RC
Tat Noella
El Triunfador Lancero (old one)
Illusione 88
Illusione Epernay (the small one is $6 I think)
R&J Short Churchill
Murcielago
La Riqueza #1
Half of a Liga Privada

Three sticks that will probably make that list, but I need to smoke a few more (GET a few more, lol) are the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial petite robusto, EPC Short Run Populares, and El Triunfador Lancero (new one)
.

You and I must have very similar tastes, my friend! To the degree that I'm going to try to track down the couple on this list that I haven't tried (Casa Fernandez, Origen, El Picador, Black Perla).

Never had one. I think I better give one a try. I have heard they are good. It is a Pepin blend right?
i dont think its a pepin blend..i thinks a general smoke. very old school. alot of tats are kind of based off of it i think but dont quote me on it

Dude...I have no pity for you! I live in CA, where the tobacco (and other) taxes basically run the cost up 30% over MSRP at any B&M.

Online is the way to go :)
50% tax in Hawaii. Could even be worse like new York. I would encourage you all to still try and support the local b&m when possible. Out here due to our tax we realize there aren't many box sales but at least singles are appreciated.
