So back in the day I used to love this brand. However, they kind of went away for a while and I started smoking other brands. When they came out with the Antano it was just too strong for me. Now it looks like they are coming out with more variety in terms of flavors, etc. (I have liked the Dark Corojo) and JD is teaming with them as well. I am a medium to full flavor/strength guy but would love to hear your thoughts on the brand now and what your favorites are.

Good question.... I have been interested in trying a JdN for a while but was always put off by their reputation for being nicotine bombs.

I was smokingthe JDN 1970 Church's for my budget smoke but I haven't touched one in over a month. Just lost my taste for them. Going back to the Tat Havana's.

I'm quite fond of some of the JdN offerings.
My favorite is/was the experimental tweaked Antano's with the Connecticut binders that they rolled last November when we were at the factory, but I doubt those will ever be produced again (Jon - my offer to Mario to buy a couple cabs still stands BTW -lol)

For regular production...
The JdNA1970 is always good for a stout cigar.

The new Cabinetta lancero is off the freaking hook. Great solid medium cigar that won't overpower.

Dark Corojo La Niveladora, the profile seems a bit different than the rest of the DC line.

Celebracion is nice for a change once in awhile.

Fuerte Serie B - buy 'em and bury them in the humidor for a year - great $2 cigar.

I bought their Clasico havana seed by the box for years....love 'em. I have had all of them at one time or another.. really like the dark corojo, the antanos, and the celebracion is pretty good too. I'm gonna have to revisit the clasico... especially for the money. $70 for a box of 25

I am loving the 1970 Antano's, but those Dark Corojo's are fantastic !! I was expecting to be blown away with strength, but the flavors are great and the strength is a lot less than other sticks I have tried.
