I smoked a Dark Corojo awhile and was less than impressed. I decided to revisit it the other day and I'm glad I did. Full-bodied and delicious. I definitely prefer these over the Antano.

I used to favor the 1970 Antano but now, the Cabinetta (Toro) is my go to JDN.
I have not even seen these Cabinetta'a...I will have to try and find them.
Like you, I favored the 1970's but got tiered of them. I will go back to them for sure but I will have to try and find this Cadinatta.

My Uzi weighs a Ton....oh wait havent had one yet lol.

Seriously though I really like the 1970s. I had two dark corojos that didnt blow me away actually, but they were kinda wet from the place I got them from and I didnt rest them enough. I got 2 more in the humi right now that I will give some time to acclimate and try again. I bet they will be better.

If you like big cigars you will like the Uzi.

I do from time to time. I started with them pretty much exclusivley, but have since gravatated more to the Robusto size and the like. 50 to 54 RG or so.
I think the Uzi will be very good though.
Drive yourself to Burning Leaf on the 20th and pick up a few Uzis! Its going to be a great event.

I have always loved the Antano 1970 Gran Consul, but don't smoke them too often due to the steak dinner I have to have before tackling that monster. I learned the hard way with that smoke and always respect it now by filling my belly before lighting up.

I got 10 of the JDN Consuls as a special from CI when I placed my order. So glad I did too cuz i love them. Has quickly become a favorite smoke of mine. Definitely box worthy for me. While smoking one today I thought it reminded me of a Monte Petit Edmundo (Habana). I can only imagine how good these will be after humidor time.

I've had a Cabinetta corona or robusto (forgot which it was) and it was pretty good! The Dark Corojo Peligroso are pretty good too.

The cabinetta is by far my favorite JdN smoke (though I like them all), but I can't find the lanceros anywhere. Need them in my life!

I've been looking for the cabinetta lanceros as well, to no avail...

I just realized Cigar Auctioneer begun putting more cabinetta boxes up for auction in various vitolas. Just got me a box of No. 11's...

My personal favorite is the JDN Cabinetta Lancero. The Cabinetta blend is already one of my favorites and the new lancero format really just takes it to the next level!

I smoked a Consul a couple of weeks ago that made my mouth numb more
and more with every draw! I had to get some sweet tea to help me out with
the nicotine! That said, i've found that I really enjoy the Antano Lancero! Amazing smoke! It would be nice if these would be more readily available. (hint hint!)

The first Dark Corojo made me sick after a hearty meal, so i think i'll try the
corona at some point down the road. The cabinetta is a great breakfast cigar,
so i'd love to try it in the Lancero format!
