Like others have said, don't go crazy trying to fill it right now. Take your time and try out a variety sticks. The humidor will fill itself before you know it and then you'll be on your way to looking into a wineador or cabinet before you know it! Lol
THISSSSSSS!!!!!!

Your palate will change!

I bought way too many sticks that were mild because I thought that's what I liked. I ended up with a ton of sticks I didn't enjoy anymore. But at least they made good bomb material

^^^^^^^ exactly!

I gave away all the sticks I bought when I first started to my buddies that only smok on random occasions when they think a cigar makes them look cool. Lmfao.

yes there is where I started with the mild but since moved to the mediums, right now I have only been buying 5-8 sticks at a time from recommendations from my somewhat local B&M to try out, and this is kind of what I was looking for when I posted my add here not so much wanting to fill me Humidor right off the bat just looking for ideas for my next trip to the B&M to grab and try out, so I had more choice's to try out because its a little drive there and I enjoy smoking them a little much lol

Some great advice. Take your time, trust me your box will fill up faster than you know with all the recommendations you will get. The challenge is that your tastes will quickly change as you experience more & more stuff. I bought a bunch of mild stuff right off the bat and now that I have moved to med-full my box has a bunch of stuff i am no longer interested in eating up precious real estate.

after seeing what gets thrown around the newbie sampler trade, just get a nice variety and start participating in the bombs here. i think that will fill up your box much quicker than you'd imagine. I think it'd be easier to cash deal or trade for singles here on BOTL, to try more stuff faster.

I like PDR's Obsidian, and Man O' War's (to add to the discussion)
may want to put some Nub's in there too !

cool stuff man.. I've got the Cuban Crafters Perfect Cut and I'm sooo happy with it. Check that one out too ! (http://www.cubancrafters.com/cuban-crafters-perfect-cigar-cutters-cuts-the-exact-amount-off-all-ring-sizes/) Not the end-all-be-all, still wanna try out some Xikar and Palio

I like the nubs a lot but at some local b&m's for the price you can get a longer smoke, I understand the whole nub/ shorter breaks. I got that same sampler gars were great, the cutter hate to break it wasn't that sturdy and If it starts to not cut straight throw it in the trash the sampler was still a good deal for the smokes
