I'll do an experiment. I really don't think the Fridge will suck up that much humidity. As Erjaq pointed out to me, sausage makers use fridges with temp controllers all the time, and they have to be more humid than cigars (abou?t 72%).

I was going to, but I opened the fridge in question and while I thought I'd cleaned it out, a single white paper container of Guacamole was left in the door. Now, in LA last summer we had a solid month of 100 degree days, and my old, built in 1946, totally non-insulated garage gets up to about 140 degrees.

I can't even explain the smell, the horror of that smell...

So, not yet.
