Cigar shop? unlikley! I just had my dog's food delivered by UPS! Walmart and Lowes are 1 hour away and there is almost nothing between here and there. Lots of moonshine and ammo though so we are all set! LOL:bottle: :assaultri

Really sorry to hijack your thread.

Glad you got the door fixed. But if your so far back in the middle of no where, why do you need a lock on your garage? We used to leave the whole place open in Michigan.

I don't know the name of the moonshine guy yet but my neighbor has some for me to try. my only neighbor up here on the mountain seems to be able to come up with a "good guy" for just about anything I may need: you've got gary, the postmaster, jim and lisa have the beer store (gary and jim are brothers), tom is the trash guy (he is also a master electrician), kenny sells things and is going to build my fence, john and lucy down the hill (john is diesel mechanic and lucy is a gossip), nelson is the president of the bank and also owns the building that I work in, nelson's brother-in-law is head of finance for the department of education for the county.... there is henley, a horse trader as well as a state's attorney, his wife is kim, the nurse practioner in town who currently has the corner on the family practice in town.... jason the DSL guy and darryl and connie at the phone company...danny the schwann's frozen food guy... it goes on and on.. forgive me for telling you all this but its a trip! (and I'm not making this up) I have only been here for a couple weeks and I know all these people. I don't think I could remember more than 2 of my neighbors' names in ohio and I was there for years.
Also, regarding the garage door, even though every one knows everyone, stuff can still happen. The whole town now knows that I am up here, alone, and it doesn't hurt to be safe.
forgive me for going off on a tangent, :computer: now, what was the question?
