That same one actually. Sometimes we'll go elsewhere but that one has a nice blend of convenience, selection, and price. He did mention a new location opening soon though.

sad... but very true..
in the 80's.. and even the early 90's.. it was one of the nicer parts of the city...
these days its "average" at best.. and not getting any better..
I seriously think what killed it was in the mid 90's when the city annexed most of the land out there.. taxes went up.. property values went down.. school system took a hit.. county public service (generally very good in memphis) to city public service (generally not so good in Memphis)... etc...
the monster mall didnt help things either (tons of traffic.. lots of folk from the inner city shopping out there daily, etc..)...
Yea, that mall once was pretty nice.... now, well its.. I'll leave it there. The county public is still really good, but anything that has the city attached for some reason just goes to crap. Now they're trying to rename the historic parks, the school districts have merged and I hate to sound so negative, but what was once a great city is really turned a the stink armpit.
Granted there are a lot of people trying to make this city better, like midtown, it's booming once again and a lot of people are moving out that way and they are really building up downtown. We may at one point get back on track.
Yea the selection out there is stellar and they will be opening a new one in Germantown, I'm actullay trying to get my foot in door out there. The owners are some really cool people. Met them a few times. Would love to work for them part time.
