hahaha i like that last quote you used there.. and yeah all of you guys are right. this post shows me that i really can come to the board with anything and have people here that are willing to help... thanks for the support brothers..

and Taz at this point that is what im trying to figure out... today i think im going to talk it over with her (when she calls me) and figure this all out.

This is very similar to my philosophy. Although I'm not sure if I would ever take relationship advice from myself.

Yeah... you should try working it out (if you know so it´s worth it). I went through something similar, a dude told me once he wouldn´t be my friend anymore because he knew that we wouldn´t be more than friends, but then we got back together as friends but then again he said he didn´t want our friendship anymore because there was competition.

Yep... i choose Alfonso. I knew then that that was best.

As Eddie and Ted have said, try and talk about it. If it's just something stupid that had to merely be talked to solve, why let it screw something good up? That said, I don't know the relationship so ye'll be a better judge regarding what needs be done.

I think that is sounds like it is just friends and friend can have disagreements. But if it is more, then it could pose problems later on.

Best to discuss it with her. If she just wants to be friends, then that's it. But if it is more...

Hey brother, I am sorry that you are having to go through this problem. I had a similar relationship, we were together for 5 years, and we got engaged. However, it did not work out, it hurt, but I am happier now. If you really think she is worth it, then go after her, but even if it ends, that means there is someone else that is really meant for you around the corner!

Sorry to hear about your relationship problems.

Can't say I'm a big fan of people that control situations with threats. I went out with someone for several years who did a similar thing, and it definitely gave them control of the relationship, which isn't healthy at all. The other person (ie me, in this case) starts modifying their behaviour, and stops being themself (which is another unhealthy state), so that they can avoid another `I'm leaving' or `It's over' moment. I'd say it's definitely time for a break, so that she can sit down and decide what she really wants, and for you to do the same thing (this is where a cigar or two will come in handy !!)

Keep your chin up, and I'm sure it will all work out for the best !!

Careers... value... wisdom.

Not saying that there aren't women who get better with age as well... but as has already been stated, no need to get committed to a girl that doesn't know what she wants... especially if neither of you really know what you want out of this thing called life.

Best of luck, just know you'll find "the one" soon enough... even if it isn't soon enough. Know what I mean?

tastes change over time... took lots of girls until the right woman finally came along... for me at least. Even now though, it takes work to make things run smoothly. The best thing a man can do is find a good partner and a compatible match.
