Have had one phone interview with W. Regional Manager and one with VP of Sales. Picked up the W. Reg Manager from the airport last night and had dinner. Last interview is tomorrow with the CEO.

Trying to brainstorm some good, long-term strategic questions. It's for a sales position. Any ideas? Any CEO's here?

Not to sound like a smart arse or anything....talk about what you know and what you can do as it relates to the position you are applying for.

Wish I could help you, but I have never had a real job, so anything I say would prob get you fired (or not hired, as the case may be :)

Good luck!

Ask exactly what he would expect from the person that they will be hiring and how that ties into the companies future plans.

1) How often do you adapt your five year plan? Annually or quarterly? Why?
2) What do you consider your most profitable product? What is it's productive life and have you already considered its replacement?
3) Do you like your managers to hands off or player coach?
4) What are your plans to take your product to the global markets?
5) WHat are the toughest obstacles the com[any faces the the next year?

Just be cool and friendly. Everyone likes that. Pepper in some questions about where the department or company used to be, where they are now, and where they're headed. Let them know you're shopping them like they're shopping you. That lets them know you're serious about your future and aren't just looking for something to fill up your 9 to 5 schedule. But don't be too rosy-nose about it.

Gutsy. That will either tell me you are very confident or a smart ass. Depends on my mood that day.
