I had to say goodbye to my little buddy today. I want to thank all of you who so thoughtfully expressed words of comfort a couple of months ago when I found out that he had cancer. He was a blessing and a joy right to the end and tonight there is a big empty space in my heart. Keep a tennis ball ready Barnie. We'll play on the other side.

Deepest condolonces brother. I spend all day, every day with my dog since I work from home and understand how close one can become with their animals.

That sucks man. I lost my last dog to cancer, still breaks my heart when I think about losing her, that was 5 years ago. My current dog is great though. Took a long time to make the commitment again, but worth it. Hang in there...
