I went and got some new ink tonight. Added to my existing tattoo on my right upper arm. The new addition was added to the inside of my arm and I am not to proud to say.... Mother trucker did that *&^&^%$ hurt! 2.5 hours in the chair and we got it all done, but it was getting really intense near the end. I feel like I earned this on a bit. The original piece on the outer arm did not hurt any way near this bad. It came out great though. I have be extremely please with my artist. Each time I just give him a few elements I'd like have in it but really not giving him much to go on, and he has always come back with an awesome design. Anyway I'm drinking a Stone Arrogant Bastard to unwind. I'll clean it up and snap a picture later tonight and try and update this post with a pic tonight or tomorrow morning.

For now time to pour another beer.........

The underarm really sucks, especially up by the armpit! Cant wait to see the new work matt. Its funny, I sent a message to my tattoo artist this morning about possibly getting some more work done myself...

OK. Here are the pics. It was late last night and I didn't feel like messing with it but I snapped a couple this morning. So first is the original piece which is what I call a modern, toughened-up take on the Irish Claddagh with some weave work. The new addition is on the inside of my arm, more celtic weave work forming a shamrock with a little green and orange to bring home the whole Irish theme.

I plan to add more eventually, but I am not sure yet what.

Sweet, nice shading and detail in the weave. I want more just don't really have the money right now.

Looks good. One of my goals this year is to sleave my left arm. Saving up for vegas in March then I will be focusing on the sleave.

Very cool and congrats. Finally got my daughter to get into the Tat designing. Here is her first design for her Uncle.

I'm pretty impressed.

Beautiful... on both pics! That is one place I must admit I'm 2 chicken 2 mess with still... 15 tats & out of only 3 that hurt, the worst was the back of my leg... I can't imagine how much more sensitive the underarm would be... although my buddy who is a licensed tatooist is covered & he said around his belly-button was ten times worse than his underarm...

The ink looks awesome man! I"m looking forward to hopefully getting my sleeve finished this year. I did it backwards though, I started at the wrist and am working up.
