I saw the thread about the guy trying to seaon his humi with beads inside, seems like an exercise in futility.
Wife and I plan on traveling to Altoona, PA to see our boy in early June.
I already scoped out cigar shops, and Havana Daydreamin' looks promising, but they have only been open since last summer.
Anybody with any experience with this B & M?
Also, any suggestions for travelling with cigars? I thought a Tupperware container and one of those 75 cent humidification packets would get me out with my stash, and return with anything I might buy out there.
Any thoughts on that plan? Not sure I am ready to buy a travel humi just yet, would rather have a cedar lined leather case for when we go out to dinner.

Thanks again for the kind and sage advice.

A heavy duty ziplock or a tupperware will work just fine. The sponsors here, have some great deal on travel humis when you are ready.

I agree to season you humi using beads won't work or will take too long. Generally a shot glass of water set in the middle for a while a week or so will do the trick. I believe there is a sticky at the top of the storage forum.

I guess it depends how long you will be traveling, but I wouldn't worry about the 75¢ humidication packets. Just get something air tight.
