So I've never had any of the Grey Cliff line and being as they're so expensive, I'm a little hesitant to purchase a 5-pack unless I know I'm going to really enjoy them. I try to stay away from singles unless I'm at a B&M and I haven't seen any at my usually shops. A 5ver pretty much eats up my cigar money for at least a week.

Are they worth the money? What about the G2 series? I've been seeing G2's going for a more reasonable price on CBid and was thinking about snagging some, but again are they worth it?

Not worth it at any price. Anyone can slap a high price tag on something - anything - to make it look like a premium product, and people who don't know will fall for it. Don't be that guy.

Glad you're asking before buying them. But, abort! They are okay but you'll be really mad at yourself for spending that kind of money to end up with an okay at best cigar.
If I'm going to spend 8 or 9 (or more) bucks a stick, I'll always ask. I'm not experienced enough to have tried a huge variety. I can look at description and know what it is SUPPOSE to be like, but rely on those without experience.

Part of the cigar experience is just that - experience. What I like/hate can be, and will be, very different for you. I wouldn't rule out Graycliff based off what I or anyone else says - I'd look to see if you could trade someone for one so you can see for yourself and not spend the money. I'd send you one if I had one but I do not smoke them so I have zero.

Ya gothe one in one of those cheap CI samplers. It was the G2 Connie I believe. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't special by any stretch of the imagination. A decent yard gar or throw around stick but don't spend a lot on them. Lot of good sticks for the same price.

I have had good luck with the G2 Maduro. They can be had on Cbid for less than $1.50/stick. Don't pay more than that. Know what you are getting for that price. A cigar with OK flavors that will burn pretty well. Suitable for smoking while mowing the lawn or cleaning the gutters. I don't seek them out, but when the right deal comes along, they are a solid cheap maduro, IMHO. (I've never tried any other blends from that brand)

I'd rule it out at anything over $2. You're right, our taste buds are different but he did ask.

Not worth it, avoid them, if I get them, they are my first to give away
