ok not really a grab at our guns, but i got your attn:
We defeated this once, and the wonderful leaders of California have changed it and are trying at this again.
Basically it says that all airguns have to be clear or brightly painted. This makes sure that cops don't shoot a kid who has an airsoft or bb gun.
1st thing I see wrong is that my .22 caliber airgun does 1000fps, and is NOT a toy. this same gun has killed a deer. Of course that was due to aguy shooting at a deer in his garden to get it away. the pellet punctured a lung and the deer died days later. so now it it not a deer rifle, but it is not to be considered toy. it could feasibly go through you eye, and into you brain. But yeah paint it ornge and it's a toy.
2nd is the new bill allows for cities and couties to make thier own rules. so I could be fine where I live and go to a buddies house 10 miles away and be committing a felony.
No matter the rerason it is just another stepping stone to the gun grab. Take a few minutes a sign this petition.
