The HUHC's are ready to smoke right off the truck, no question. Every one has had a perfect draw. Mildish, but surprisingly complex for the small format. They aren't perfectly consistent, but that hasn't been a bad thing. The 'worst' ones are very, very good. But 4 or 5 out of each box are incredible! So, any inconsistency works in my favor.
The Party Shorts are enjoyable, but they sort of substitute a little kick for flavor. They've also run a little on the 'tight' side. Not quite a chore to smoke, but not the pleasant, easy draw of the HUHC.

I will second for the Partagas Shorties. However, they do need to age a bit. One that I purchased years ago are delicious. I just picked up a new box the other day and they weren't as tasty. They need to rest a bit and mature before consumption. Just my opinion.
