bigbwalls - Good question...tough to answer. My favorite vitola has always been 5 5/8 x 46--and that shape (Corona Gorda) shines in the Headley Grange blend.

That said, the Hermoso no. 4 (5 x 48) is /amazing/ and you'd be hard-pressed to find a cigar in a 44RG that has the structure/intensity/flavor that the Eminentes has (5 1/4 x 44).

I'm looking forward to these.

Crowned heads makes some tasty cigars and the customer service is outstanding as I found out 1st hand how serious Jon is about the integrity of his product so I will certainly continue my support with my wallet.

Do you think we will ever see these in the UK? We are getting more and more non cubans these days.
Cheers.

The #4 and the Dobles sound good, but not wild about the extreme box press idea.
I wouldn't say the press on the current size is extreme at all and it's being called a trunk press.
This thread is discussing the next release, described as a trunk press. The trunk press squares up the cigar even more than the typical box press.

Trunk-Press is fine with me. I assume it's like a Padron Anni or an Oliva Melanio? Those cigars burn better than any, imo.
