One of my best friends died this morning suddenly--our cat Chewbacca. He was at the vet getting neutered and somehow died-- something about the anestesia the vet said, I don't understand it as he was in perfect health and of a very hearty breed and ttpcally live a very long time (he was only 4).
Other than God, Chewy was the most instrumental in helping me through a depression a few years ago. Now I feel like I let him down. Our son Andrew doesn't understand, of course, as he's just over two, and has been asking for "Boobacca" all day. Our other cat has been looking allover for his father and companion today, it's very sad.
My nine-month-pregnant wife Sara has basically lost it ... Things are already crazy right now with moving to Japan, selling our house for a loss, and the fact that my Grandmother is dying ... Not to mention the baby due in 2.5 weeks.
So yea, prayers for the Johnstones over the next few weeks would be greatly appreciated!
