My condolences on your loss. I work at a vet clinic and yes, sometimes an animal has complications with the anesthesia. It certainly doesn't make it any easier to accept their loss whether they pass suddenly at an early age or advanced in years. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Thanks for all the sympathies, guys, I really appreciate it! We burried Chewy in the backyard today. My wife was nearly beside herself, the 9.5 months pregnant thing can't help, lol. We're still in shock, really. But right now I'm smoking my favorite cigar (old Tat Verocu) in his memory.

My Grandma is going into hospice tomorrow, so that won't be long--and I can't go back because Sara could go into labor at any time. Anyway, I appreciate you guys a lot for letting me share my burdens with you!!
