Heartfelt Beads, Frequently Asked Questions

Hey guys so i have a question, I have been looking into heartfelt beads since every one swears by them. I currently used Boveda packs and am happy but can only spend so much money...
So here is my question I have the El diablo humidor from Cigars International which is 18x11.25x10.25 so when calculated it comes to rounded out 2076 cubic inches. I was thinking about getting the Heartfelt stainless humidifier ( http://www.heartfeltindustries.com/proddetail.asp?prod=AH_1_65 )
Now on to the question:
would it be and issue for the beads to do their job? being that my box is so deep? I measured that from the most bottom point to the the top of the divider which is 3.5 inches plus to the top of the tray maybe another 4 more?
So i guess what I am asking do the beads need more air flow than the constricted space I'm giving it or would i need to move my sticks around and give it more space?

The tubes took a few to get enough water into the beads but once i got them there they have been holding for days consistently

That was quick. Start with that and see how it goes. Can always add more later
Yes, I would. The tubes, assuming you got enough,will maintain the rh alone. Added media (guessing its a foam type unit) will probably cause the beads to absorb humidity. I would use the beads only and charge them ass directed.
yup its the foam type, and I ordered 1 more of the sticks then recommended, so there is 2 on bottom and 2 on top
