I've bought several boxes of CAO Blacks, and what I've found is that they're everything you'd expect out of a decent medium bodied domestic...and nothing more. In other words, they are good, but they're not complex. Kinda like a lot of mainstream Dominican and Nicaruagan sticks.
BTW, toss as many of those in the back of your humi and forget about them. You'd be shocked how much better they get after 9+ months. A while ago, I compared a 'fresh' stick out of a box side-by-side to a nearly year old stick, and the difference was profound. That's actually what convinced me of the benefits of aging cigars.
