Welcome, fellow Minnesotan! I'm not living there now, but grew up in the Twin Cities.

If you have a garage, consider getting a space heater w/a fan and a blanket, and sitting in there. With the "heat tent" that this creates, it's very possible to sit and enjoy at least a small cigar even when it's butt cold!

That's what I have can get my garage to 30 to 45 depending on outside weather but good enough for me.

I sit in my garage now, but am getting sick of the cold!! I haven't tried the space heater and tent idea yet so i will give that a try.
