Greetings!

I too am in a similar boat. except for the fly fishing and single malt scotch.

I enjoy monte 4's and partagas shorts.
Mainly because it seems like the gateway sticks, really cause I enjoy them the most.
The more I try other sticks, RASCC, Cuaba, punch, vegas R etc, the more I fine myself going back to the monte line and once in a while cohiba (too expensive).

I stick with the corona size mostly. Even though the smoke is cooler with larger ring guages, I dont like sitting there for 2hrs for a smoke. At about the 45min mark, no matter how enjoyable, I fine myself done.
