I grew up in the anthracite region of PA. Back then, the ABE area wasn't anything special, just a place we passed thru on the way down the shore. Now it's the cigar retail center of the universe. Can some of you Keystone Staters tell us what happened?

From what I can tell, it's because it's the least oppressive area in terms of tobacco taxes and regulations in the region.
