Awesome, I completely missed this thread but I work in marketing and as simple as the "A" theory is it holds tremendous water.

All American Windows, simple yet very easy to remember. You can also use the AAW on your trucks.

You can work the acronym front as I said. Three letters may be easier to remember than a whole name depending on what you choose.

Best of luck!

Sorry for the delay in replying. It's hectic here. I won't be finalizing the name until Thursday and will let you know as soon as the decision is made. Thanks again for all the input!

I don't have time to read the whole thread. How about

The pane doctor? As in we can fix your panes.

Brian, I apologize if this has been suggested or if you already made a decision.

Sorry I haven't kept you updated on this. I haven't had much 'net time lately.
We're having a hard time deciding on this and will now finalize it on Monday. We're leaning towards the "American" theme since all components of our window are made in America while most of our competition is using vinyl which is mostly coming out of China now.

Once again, my apologies for being AWOL and not keeping you up to date on this. I've been busier than a man with one hoe and two snakes.

The name of the new venture is..........drum roll please.....................American Window Center!
The prize goes to Fredneck who first introduced the American theme (American Window Systems). We kicked this one around alot since we liked that it ties well to our American Made product. We did decide to change the last part from Systems to Center because part of our approach is to establish well appointed showrooms that we hope our advertising will drive customers to and we felt that "center" would help promote that. Many replacement outfits don't bother with showrooms and rely on just taking hand samples to the customers home. While that's convenient for some customers we feel that having a nice showroom as a base of operations gives folks more confidence in us and makes us appear more "permanent", which we plan to be. We also plan to be very visible so even if they don't visit the showroom before making an appointment, they'll have seen us while they're out and about.

Thanks very much to all who contributed! You gave us a lot of great ideas to work with. I wish I could send cigars to all of you........but I haven't sold that many windows yet!
Fredneck, I'll be in touch with you via PM for address particulars.
Thanks Man!

Here's the first draft of my business card. Don't laugh, I had to come up with something quick for some early but economical advertising pieces, and to have something to hand folks on my first appointments.
