It's slow moving for us and when it gets here will be only rain. Highs this weekend are supposed to be in the upper 60's. Bakersfield CA was 26 this morning and I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Could someone please put the earth back on her axis.

The weather is pretty jacked up here in Austin Tx. Alot of rain with sleet and ice on the way tonight at midnight. If ever there was a day that I would have liked to call in to work....TODAY IS THAT DAY!

It's getting worse as I type...so far we still have power, trees and lines are covered with ice.......keep us in your thoughts (good thoughts LOL )

Hang in there EZ. Twenty miles north and west of us it is mass power outages with thousands of people without electricity.. So far it hasn't got cold enough here to cause us problems. It has hovered between 31 and 33 degrees the last 24 hours with 4.5" of rain in that same period. I'm worried about tonight though. They say we can expect another 3-4" of rain before it stops tomorrow night and I'm not sure if the cold air will stay stalled just away from us or not.

I had all of this I wanted in 2000. That ice strom cost me about 30k in repair bills.

My power went out for 45 minutes this morning for some reason. Just an oddity I guess.
