Well EZ and JG, did you keep the power on. (Lack of response would imply a big negative)

So far so good for me but it appears that the grand finale of this storm is coming through this afternoon and tonight. They are calling for heavy downpours or as they are actually calling it "thunder ice". They're predicting another 1" of ice or possibly more, and with temps now down to 28 deg here, my luck might be over as far as staying thawed out.

I guess we'll see what the day brings!!

I lived in OKC for five years, so I know how bad things get when the frozen stuff starts falling. (ie. lack of plows or icing trucks) But I can't recall ever seeing that much frozen precip for that long in OK. Hope all goes well.

Thanks bothers for all your considerations... COLD here, rain/sleet/ice,as Jg said , we are waiting for the other shoe to drop, Power still on , Thank God, but so far all is still liveable.......if power does go out .. well that's another story.stayed tuned.............
