if my food is cut up, i eat 2 pieces at a time. Kind of like eating its match.

I'll take in different bits of everything as the meal progresses. Sometimes I'll even mix everything up into a single pile. This works well with Mexican and Chinese food.

I eat whatever is going to get cold the quickest first.

I lean towards this strategy too. But, I move around the plate and always eat from the outside of the food and move inwards. I never start eating anything in the middle.

I always eat the vegetables first, and then what ever is left randomly. I just want to get the vegetables out of the way first.

My wife is the same way. So I put 2 or 3 different things on my fork and eat it. Sometimes I just mix it all up in i pile and dig in.
