if there's one thing i'm great at (and maybe the only thing) it's showing restraint when i know a cigar is not ready.

i'm sitting on my dracs until this oct and my black tubos until xmas.

patience young padawan.

yep lots of muted flavors in mine... or maybe they are just not my cup o tea... the frank was very very enjoyable and the boris that I had recently was also, I'm preturbed.
So are you saying it's Ok to open my Franks up and smoke one?

....and I agree, the one Boris I have smoked was a mighty fine cigar! :cbig:

Smoked another Drac yesterday. More age? Hmmmm. I dunno. It was not a gee whiz stick IMHO. Ah Larry....wish I had another box of Franks. Now THAT was a great cigar.

Just smoked a Drac and I would take a red tubo over it any day. I think out of the two for this year the Frank was the winner and I love torpedos.

I smoked my first Drac about a month and a half ago, and a second one about two weeks ago. Both burned very well, felt firm all throughout the burn, and I pretty much nubbed them both. The second one was better than the first, but I enjoyed the first one too.

Looking forward to how these change as they age...

Bought a box and after smoking the first I gave away or sold the majority of the rest. I have a few left and I'm hoping that with 6 or 7 more years they'll come of age.

That's an understatement! I'd take a red tubo over just about any stick right now. Definitely a winner!

I just smoked my last one on Friday. Started out sweet, then got bitter, then went to floral (couldn't believe that), then kinda blah and burnt tasting. I have only smoked 5-6 but they were all inconsistant. I had one of the bunch that was a steller smoke...wish they were all like that particular one...time will tell.

I originally had 3 Drac's that I purchased at release. I smoked the first stick 1 month after purchase. I was very disappointed to say the least. The stick was very bland in my opinion. I smoked my second Drac this past March. It was only slightly improved, but still a very blah stick. I think that I will let my last Drac sit for another six months.

I smoked one about 5 weeks ago or so and I had a similar experience. No burn issues, construction issues. I thought it a good cigar at the time and one that will get better with age. I am looking forward to smoking the rest of the box I have.
