How much do you spend per year on cigars?

I was at a cigar lounge today near DFW before my flight home and the topic of "how much do you spend on cigars per year?" came up amongst the 5 or 6 guys sitting there.

One of the guys said he smoked 6 $10 cigars per day and had just over $26k in cigars last year. I nearly fell out of my chair!

I'm thinking that I spend around $3k but I don't really know. Do you know? How much?

I can't really say how much I spend with a dollar amount, because my income fluctuates with how well my business is doing and how well my clients performed each month (I make a %). I can say that I budget 10% of my income to my 'good' habits (cigars, pipes, brewing). Hope that helps, buddy.

I smoke 2 to 3 $6 to $12 cigars a day, BUT, I buy all my cigars at auction, and have a knack at snagging them for $1 to $3 ea. So, I guess that puts me at around $2k to a year.

I probably spend $300 per year and another $500 buying and sending to you folks. So not all that much until I build my dream cabinet (gotta get a bigger house first-no room). I only maintain a 150 ct humi though, and only average 1 stick a week.

I think I'm between 500 and 1000 per year. I expect that to increase now that there's a wineador in the works.
We go to Cabo every year (maybe not this year now ) and I pick up a box or a mix of Cubans there. That bill lands about 500-600 depending on what I buy.
The rest after that fluctuates drastically based on what's left over and what I find. Lack of storage space has limited my collection to this point.

I would say around $1500 - $2000 a year. I am pretty good about smoking my pipe to off set my costs.

I used to be at $100-$200 back in the cay, but in recent. Probably around $2 grand if not more.
