So many variables come into play. I was part of a blind taste and review. Most everyone thought the cigar was terrible. I thought it was a practical joke thinking he purposely sent us a dog rocket NC, when this was a CC forum. Turns out it was an OR Monte Double Edmundo. It, was, terrible.

Pretty sure you don't smoke enough ccs to know the difference.

Ditto what the others have said. I'll add that Habanos in particular seem to vary a lot from stick to stick, even in the same box (though it does seem that when you get a "good box," most are good). When this has happened to me--and it HAS happened to me, on multiple occasions--I let the rest sit in the proper conditions for a couple months and then try again. I got some PEs not long ago and the first one I had was pretty "meh." They're coming around now, though.

FWIW, the Petite Edmundo is a favorite of mine. Don't give up on them!
