Yes, tornado damage was in a much smaller area, thankfully. We also lost ALL of the things you mentioned and 6 years later the rebuilding continues.
I just think it is WAY to early to judge the efforts being put forth 3 weeks after a storm that destroyed such a huge area. That was my complaint about your post. Let's give in a year and see how it's progressing. But it is going to take years to fully recover in Texas and Florida.

I can't think of hardly any place in the US that doesn't have a potential threat of disaster. I live in the middle of tornado alley, you live in a bowl along the Gulf coast. Let's hope neither of us have to go through another disaster.

It surprises me that you had an issue with my posts because I said nothing about the effort being made or that will be made.
I merely pointed out that aside from emergency humanitarian aid it will be very difficult for Congress to pass a large infrastructure rebuilding package for the Caribbean.

When you say Caribbean, are you talking about PR? Those people are really in a bad situation. That whole island is demolished. It's been a rough year for a lot of people.

And when I watch the news I figure they show the worst they can find and report the negative rather than show and praise the progress being made. Most seem to have an agenda.
