Yes, tornado damage was in a much smaller area, thankfully. We also lost ALL of the things you mentioned and 6 years later the rebuilding continues.
I just think it is WAY to early to judge the efforts being put forth 3 weeks after a storm that destroyed such a huge area. That was my complaint about your post. Let's give in a year and see how it's progressing. But it is going to take years to fully recover in Texas and Florida.
I can't think of hardly any place in the US that doesn't have a potential threat of disaster. I live in the middle of tornado alley, you live in a bowl along the Gulf coast. Let's hope neither of us have to go through another disaster.
