Howdy - new to BOTL - not new to cigars. Had not smoked a Crowned Heads - ever - until tonight, when Las Calaveras knocked my all-time favorite smoke (LP #9) out of first place - by a mile or two. I bought the box only because El Dia De Los Muertos is the coolest holiday - and some good posts about Crowned Heads cigars. Undoubtedly the best cigar I've had the privilege to smoke in many years. Hat's off to Jon, and to Pepin and Jaime. I do not know how the My Father artisanos do it - I smoked a Tatuaje Black at 5:00pm which left my palate clean enough to tackle the Calaveras at 8:00pm. I smoked it ROTT - and savored every puff. It left me marveling that Pepin can make the Tatuaje that I smoked first - and the Calaveras - which are at polar extremes of the cigar spectrum and equally excellent in terms of quality. Mind boggling.
