Heading out to visit the daughter an son-in-law this afternoon. I have just under 1/4 tank and to fill up with diesel will run between $450 - $500. I just had to put tires on the front to at $338 each. But at least I don't have to spend money on a motel or have to go out to eat every meal. In fact going to spend a few nights in a parking lot.

At least the tires were cheap. Fuel well it would be a tough pill to swallow

2500 miles last week. I'd say 600 of those were at about 6.8MPG. The rest were around 14MPG. I guess it would suck if I actually had to pay for my fuel.

That averages out to better than my Suburban J.

Gas just dropped 4 cents the other day. Is this a trend? Now at $3.74!
