I want to age some bourbon and tequila! Any advice?

I think if you were to get some Dickel White Corn Whiskey or some other white whiskey, you could do a better aging stint. But you need sacrificial barrels to refill what's lost to the "Angel's Share" in the remaining barrels. If you take any distillery tour they'll cover that when they walk you through the rack house.

Anyone try it with cheap scotch? And how much do the kits cost? I guess the only really necessary part of it is the barrel, huh?
