I know this is a very subjective question, but I am wanted to add one more box of cigars to my collection (all my humidor can handle) and could only pick one of the following what should I choose? I want a box that I can smoke a few now, and age the rest. All of these boxes are on the expensive side, no price is not an issue. Here they are, Cohiba siglo IV, Cohiba Siglo VI, cohiba lanceros, Partagas serie d no. 3, and the montecristo EL robusto. I am a big fan of the cohibas, but I have yet to smoke a box from 2006. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the congrats, it was one hell of a game... Can the partagas be smoked as young as they are now?

If they're to your liking then smoke them. If they aren't, then set them down for a couple years. Some people like in your face young cigars and some like them more refined that only aging can bring.

I don't really like Cohibas and the EL's are okay to me, so I'd have to go with the Partagas.

I'd have to go with the Partagas. Nice young, wow with age. I am doing so experimenting with young Cohibas Sig VI's.

do they have that typical EL flavor or is it more partagas earthiness?
I found the 2006's had the spicy classic partagas flavor and profile. Cramy with some leather. I have some of the 2001's which are phenomenal and hope these will achieve the same status.

I got a box of CoRos about 3 weeks or so ago, had one just a couple days back, it was very nice, I can only imagine what a couple years will do

I haven't smoked many '06 cigars...actually I think the only ones were some PSD4s from March.

They were delicious but VERY strong.

Of your choices I would go with the Siglo IV. Back in late December of '04 I smoked quite a few that were from July '04. Damn they were friggin' good...probably some of the most memorale cigars to date.
