Ipod / Mp3 adaptors for the car

I use a $10 cassette adaptor in my truck, and have for 5 years now. It works great.

My wife was using an iTrip, but she kept picking up everyone else's iPod signals in traffic, so she switched to a cassette adaptor as well.

If your Prius is an 06 or later there is already an audio-in jack.
Otherwise, there are adapters that patch into the cd-changer inputs that let you use a player.

I got an Alpine headunit for Christmas and all I need is to hook a cable up to it when I get an Ipod.

There is a mod for it to make it broadcast past FCC limits. Does a pretty good job but FM is still kinda low fidelity. Plugs into anything though and is powered by batteries or car adapter so it wont drain your device!
