Mine was deposited last night. I am one happy camper. Now to decide what to do with it. Some will help the economy like Busch want, some will pay off cigars. I think the rest I will let the wife decide what to do with it.

I checked my bank balance yesterday and was surprised to find a $1200 surplus ...

Just received the DOT notice in the mail telling me to expect the money on 5/9. Here is something I was not sure of: "Note: You will not be required to report the amount of your stimulus payment as taxable income on your 2008 federal income tax return." Whoo hooo

That's right, this money is non-taxable, non-reportable, no nothing, the IRS isn't going to hold it against us in any way.

*sigh*

Nothing yet but I'm 79 so it could be a little while. Ours is going toward catching up some bills. I'm going to try to sneak a few dollars out toward some cigars but we'll see.

weird.. im 05, and havent seen anything.. i direct deposited my refund, so i figured i would have it early.. now seeing that someone with 06 got theirs, now im pissed.. :rifleaim:
I read an article today that if you file a joint return with a spouse and one of you do not have a SS you are out of luck. Seems unlikely here though.
