Pre release l40 was in my top five ever of any cigar. Pre release both was top ten.Negative. BOTL'12 was, IIRC (been two years now) all about earth and pepper and cocoa, real rich and dark. The L40 was actually released first, but to me has a drier kind of profile, more tobacco and bittersweet cocoa. Hard to describe the differences without shortchanging the L40 in the description. Both were fantastic, but the BOTL'12 is was the better of the two.Beaut of a review. Would you say, now that L40 exists, that it is similar?
But it's been a long time since I had either in my hands.
I would call it limited production based on difficulty of tracking these down. Just like I wouldn't call L40 regular production. Semantics. It is regular production, still making it and still available for retailers to order.I didn't mention the El T Original because I wouldn't consider it regular production. But.... it is a damn fine Lancero!!!
I will try the MC1 if I can grab one. Agree on the Daruma, it's awesome. Those are smoking nice right now. Try the MC 1 Mutante if you get a chance too. Also, forgot to mention Daruma Mutante might be one of 101's finest sticks ever made.

Right now I'm happy to have a full box of the MC2 to dip into whenever I visit the B&M. Which should be in another 7 hours... not that I'm counting...
